So when they clock you, do you ever get, "Hey, did you just take my picture?" Does anyone ever ask you to delete the photo? Or maybe to email it to them (which should be pretty easy with an iPhone)?
No, not really. One time in a restaurant a woman said "oh, your camera's on!" because she noticed it (dark place) and thought I was accidentally shooting the room, and then one of these guys above said the same thing. I know from some of these looks you might think they OBVIOUSLY figured me out. But in fact, most of these are just one shot of several in a series and they don't look back after, meaning they're more likely just glancing at the phone. I think most of us don't think we're worth taking a picture of so we would—as they do—briefly notice and then say "nah."
The thing that I love about these photos is that as a gay man, for me the eye connection with another guy on the street is such a rewarding moment. These photos totally bring to mind that feeling of not knowing if a guy is checking you out and then catching him. Even though they might not be checking you out, it's the eact same look. I love these. Especially Blue Shirt Guy.
OMG, Blah!, that’s the same feeling I got while looking at the photos, it’s like sneaking a peek and finding out they are checking you out as well (even if in this case they are just curious about the cool-looking phone). still, it’s hot to pretend.
Yes, 3 and 4. No, I'm not cruising for a bruising and feel I can talk my way out of any situation...but probably I will just remind myself that when I close my eyes I am not invisible.
