I remember my mom was visiting NYC when In The Company Of Men came out and she'd heard of it so wanted to see that instead of the latest blockbuster just because it was a buzzy movie that wasn't going to play Flushing, Michigan, anytime soon. It was quite the experience...it's still a hard movie to watch. But I've liked Aaron Eckhart ever since.
