Madonna appeared at the Traverse City Film Festival to introduce her (quite good) documentary I Am Because We Are. I think she looks great, and very natural (she was much more made up at TriBeCa when I saw her there). I would not call whatever work she's had done "extreme," as her brother has called it. Nor would I ask, "What's wrong with her face?" She looks good and happy. A few extra pounds would not kill her, but I likey. (The picture above right is very "Don't Cry For Me, Traverse Cityyy!")

Interestingly, her father and stepmother attended (they're in the background at left chatting with Lourdes as Madonna chats with Moore), so whatever Sturm und Drang is going on behind-the-scenes regarding Christopher's book is not playing out in public.
