Madonna gamely launched into "I Love New York" last night during her second MSG Sticky & Sweet show. She seemed pleased to have a more recent song nominated—although the audience didn't know the lyrics past the first few trade-offs! (That's okay, Madonna messed up her own lyrics three or four times last night, each time taking it in stride and laughing it off. She's really a changed artist—for the better!—when it comes to stage warmth and audience interaction.)
As for Sarah Palin..."I'll kick her ASS!"

If you could understand her it would be worth posting.

It's all perfectly easy to understand. Turn up the volume?

Yeah, why isn't Madonna speaking about Prop 8. I'm not one of those who thinks she owes the gay community anything but you think that would be important to her.

She forgot the words to a lot of songs in each show. This one was a big yawn compared to Confessions.

I didn't catch her missing any cues or words in the NYC opening, but she had three or four slips in the second night—nothing egregious, just starting "La Isla Bonita" too soon and catching herself. It was never a case of a star sitting there on stage totally clueless as to what to sing next (like the infamous Leslie Uggams video from years ago). I thought it was cute.
