I think Ted Stevens is better off having lost his seat today. He'll be pardoned by Bush, guar-own-teed. And won't face expulsion by his peers.
But anyway: Ted Stevens lost his seat today! Begich won! That's awesome, period, plus it fucks Sarah Palin's diabolical plan to swoop into that seat and build her cred for a 2012 run.
Now she knows how those wolves feel, running unprotected on the open ice as people like her fire at will from helicopters.

Trust me...without Palin in the Senate as soon as possible...she will be so old flavor in four years. Americans grow tired of people so quickly...and her light burned bright..but it also will burn out twice as quick. It sure doesnt hurt that shes stuck in Alaska.... now I want the Tee shirt that says Cya Sarah
