The GLAAD nominations are in, here. Interesting notes:

* Why don't they honor blogs, as opposed to Outstanding Digital Journalism? (And what's a "newspaper?")

* For Outstanding Magazine Overall Coverage, only one specifically gay magazine was recognized (the best of them, The Advocate). How must that feel if you're Out, Genre or Instinct knowing that your peers think Newsweek is a more positive gay standard-bearer?

* Outstanding Los Angeles Theater? Bitch, please.

* Note that three Tyra Banks episodes are nominated as Outstanding Talk Show Episode...but only one Ellen episode is honored, and Ellen's a dyke!

* How can they have an Outstanding Comic Book award without an Outstanding Book Book Award?

Raised-eyebrow observations aside, congrats to the nominees and good luck!
