For a man who's been dead since 1865, Lincoln is continually full of surprises. Just today, I read about a newly discovered photo that apparently is the only to show him in front of the White House:

And also today, I found a story of a watchmaker who carved a personal message inside one of Lincoln's timepieces:

Odd "timing" considering our president is obsessed with Lincoln. But what fascinates me about it is that history can evolve based on what we do and do not know.
