Any sharp criticism of President Obama's inaction coupled with stating that you're still glad his president is right up my alley. Maher doesn't even mention gay rights in this rant, but it applies.

You know, I get his point, but this is my fundamental problem with Bill Maher. Everything is black or white. There is no in-between with him. He acts as if Obama has been sitting on his ass since being elected, when he's done more in the first 6 months, that Bush did in 8 years. Let's face it, if whoever in office doesn't support what Bill Maher is pushing for, they are failing.
Geez, dude, he can't fix all the worlds problems in 6 months! And it's not like he can just push things through (I don't care if Bush did it or not, it's not ethical). My guess is that Obama will try 'playing nice' first and then if he can't get any help from the Republicans (or worse, his own party) then I think he'll get more nasty. At least that's what I'm hoping. But as for Bill Maher, unless he wants to get off his bong-smoking ass and DO something to change the world, he's just a hypocrite with a big mouth, as far as I'm concerned.
