The track list for the single CD is so incomplete it's not even funny!!

My excitement about the whole project has been slowly deflating since the (real?fake?) track listings started emerging. On top of the fact that Madonna isn't doing any promotions due to the tour. As a fan, I kind of feel insulted. I already have all of these songs and most of the remixes. Paying for them again would just be a donation to Madonna and Warner Brothers. I'd rather donate to amfAR.

You said that the previously reported (immaculate heavy) versions were incorrect Matt, what are the actual versions?

Single remixes and LP versions i guess. Would've been awesome to have had all new or choice remixes of all the tracks in a dj-set-esque format like Confessions

Yea I was a bit gutted to hear that TIC-versions were going to be used. Hopefully they are correcting that bit of laziness. Now if we can get the DVD tracklisting.

But she already did that with You Can Dance I guess. It would be great though to have the BEST remixes of her tunes mashed up in a collection and also hear the old school stuff given a professional contemporary remix

Ok, if she prefers La Isla Bonita over Don't Tell Me or even over including Revolver I give up. We're destined to hear this song on every tour to come as long as she's alive.
I think that they should have included some of the updated S&S updated versions: Music, Toop Toop Groove and maybe even the Vogue mash-up.
I'm surprised by all this creative lazyness from someone who used to be the master of the art. I understand the anti-WB angle (not to mention I'm glad that she spends her time raising a family and saving countries,) but still, if she had invested a little creativity in organizing this properly, it could have been an M lovefest that would reignite her career in the US and fuel further tours.
p.s. so does this mean she's going head-to-head with Mimi??

You know, that single disc is so lazy, it's not even funny. Weren't there more songs on The Immaculate Collection?
And I agree about her lack of promotion. This woman used to own the music video as an artform and she just simply doesn't seem to want to do them any more.
Still, Celebration is infinitely less lazy than GHV2

i'm sure madonna will be doing a considerable amount of promotion once her tour is over...
a GH isn't about first week sales. its about longevity...sticking around on the charts for a while and then becoming a hot catalog seller. Immaculate Collection didn't sell over 10 million copies in the states in its first 3 months.

It does at least indicate that all of the versions are "remastered" which gives me hope that they won't just toss on the versions from The Immaculate Collection ...
