The tabloids have turned every major killer since Hitler into a homosexual, and the Fort Hood shooter is no exception. (Full disclosure: I wondered aloud if he might be gay, but only in a worried "don't strengthen Don't Ask, Don't Tell" way.)
The November 23, 2009, issue of National Enquirer quotes Imam Mohamed Abdul-lahi—who runs a Muslim center in Maryland where shooter Nidal Malik Hasan attended services—as saying, "Maybe he is a homosexual. He was clearly very troubled. In the Koran, there was a messenger who was a homosexual, and God destroyed him."
Homosexual = troubled, got it?
