Just heard a rumor from a friend that Madonna will open the Grammys on January 31. Interesting! Would she bother to perform "Celebration"? It's traditional to do your big hit from the previous year on the Grammys, but it's also not out of the question to do a new single (as she once did with "Nothing Really Matters"). Maybe we'll get a live "Revolver" (Guetta version) performance?
I'm hearing that she might actually be performing a new single. A-trak is supposedly working on her new material as we speak. Don't really believe the Grammy rumour but hoping the A-trak one is true. We shall see.....

No..she needs to move on. I don't mind her performing a classic single, but nothing that reminds us of her artistic downfall, whichi is only temporary.

unless they're having her do another michael jackson speech (just kidding... sort of) would be nice if she did new stuff.

I just miss her old face :(

Hmmmm interesting but I'll believe it when I see her cheek injected face in high definition. Perhaps for 2010 she'll wheel out her old face again...sigh...

I wonder. Is that the face of someone who gets any pleasure out of life anymore? What does she stand for at this point? Denial?
She needs to have a big old buttery Julia Child moment and baste the turkey. ANd by that I mean slather her hot boyfriend like a suckling pig.

Puh-leeeez this is as bogus as her performing at the VMAs. Not even SHE likes Celebration enough to ever perform it.
She's prob gonna present some special award,or give Gaga one of the 6 grammys she's gonna win.

I wish it was true. Apparently she turned down a chance to perform on X Factor which is huge here. The producers were told that "she had nothing to promote".
Matt, your blog is my favourite Madonna fan site now. :)
By the way, I haven't seen any reference to the picture here, so here's my belated Christmas gift for you. Happy New Year!

She really should take a break and not try to top her last few Grammy numbers (Nothing Really Matters, Music, and Hung Up were over-the-top and/or incredible). She has nothing to promote, and we're all sick of that Sticky & Sweet nonsense. Let's pray her next album is a "Ray of Light"-caliber resurgence.

I'm dating myself here but remember when she was Mo before Madge and Esther? Think Sidewalk Talk with Jellybean Benitez. So, I'm a fan, love Mo...but this pis is not flattering. It looks like a drag queen impersonation. Just saying. ;) peace

She should stay out of the limelight (music-related) until she comes out with a new album.
