Adam Lambert looks far hotter "bare," courtesy of People (December 14, 2009). In his Q&A, he says of meeting Madonna:
"Madonna told me, 'Keep your eyes on the prize.' I was at her house in New York. It was intimidating. Her son David answered the door. I thought, 'This is so surreal.' When we talked about singing together, she said, 'I'm really bossy in the studio. I'll piss you off.' I said, 'If you piss me off, we'd probably make good art.' We bantered. She was cool."
What is annoying is how the word "ART" is being thrown around now a days by these so called "artists" (i.e Lady GAGA) as if by labeling it so makes whatever piece of crap they produce a "work of genius". This boy was on "American Idol"and does not write his own songs and yet he is an artist? Give me a break!

Lady Gaga does write all of her own music, she also wrote a song for Adam. If anyone is an artist, she is, and this is coming from an Art History major who thinks anything after Monet is crap.

Like Laddie Gaga, Madam Flamebert is tiring and desperately overreaching. Both are overprocessed, overexposed and has exhibited no sense of taste or control. MORE MORE MORE!
At least Madonna knew when to show up shockingly fresh-faced and toned down. When you run around like a shrieking one-person circus, the occasional reminder that you can also do simple and sophisticated can be astounding.

Lady GaGa is a very talented artist, just because she's more abstract compared to the norm-stars doesn't mean she's any less or anymore of an artist. She expresses her point of view and puts on a show, that's what she wants to do so it's not in your place, Jake, to say that she isn't. If she doesn't fit your preferences than that's okay, but don't call the music/performances they do pieces of crap. If you used that logic, every form of entertainment that you don't enjoy is a 'piece of crap'.
As for Adam Lambert, he is also an artist because he does have some say in what he does and does not do whether it be stage performances or recording a song.
& as for Madonna...since when did she have a son named 'David'?

^Since she adopted him...

I don't find Adam Lambert appealing at all.

Yea, you guys aren't giving Lady Gaga any credit at all. She writes, produces, and writes her own stuff. She's every bit of the word "Artist" Watch her behind the scenes stuff on youtube.

Are actors not artists? They don't write their own material.

She'd better not work with him! If she does I am leaving her for good!
Posted by: jim jam | December 03, 2009 at 04:53 AM
That was my concern. Why would she work with him? Oy vey. I thought Madonna was prepping to direct a movie...not make music with the latest flash in the pan.
Ugh

I would much rather see Adam work with a REAL artist..maybe Cyndi Lauper? she is definitely what we can call a TRUE ARTIST!!! and she can sing too!

You're deaf if you can't tell that Adam has an amazing voice. He admits being embarrassed by his poor vocals at the AMAs and his other performances were awesome, so why not actually give him a listen? Have any of you even given him a chance or did you just knee-jerkingly decide that he wasn't even worth your precious time? I'd actually really like to know. I just don't understand how you can like Madonna and not like Adam (his voice is so much better than hers). She supports him and you don't. I just don't get it.

Jake: art is define by wiikipedia as a "process or product of deliberately arranging elements in a way that appeals to the senses or emotions. It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations, and modes of expression, including music, literature, film, sculpture, and paintings." Adam may not make sense to you, but that does not mean its not art.

u guys are funny. look at the writing credits on adam's album.

You people are ridiculous, You are all acting as if what he is doing is "fresh" or "new". This is the same "song and dance" that has been done for years and done better. Adam is only getting the spotlight for rubbing a guys face on his crotch. Its all for shock value" so to ignore the fact that his album sucks and you people are falling right into there trap.
