National Enquirer (January 16, 2012) claims that Chaz Bono has all but disowned his mom Cher after a knock-down, drag-out fight in which Cher said she didn't think Chaz's ex-fiancée had ever loved him. Sad if true.

Do you really believe anything the Enquirer prints? All BS...and that picture of Chaz with the suitcase is him leaving for a ski vacation over Christmas week with the Bono clan. He wasn't storming out of anywhere.

Cher's new album was supposed to be released before Christmas. Obviously, it has been delayed. Perhaps Cher's and Madonna's respective albums will be released at about the same time, and will be going head to head for the gay dollar.

That "Sick" caption next to Cher in relation to Chaz to me seems like a trompe-l'oeil designed to make readers believe that she is saying that to her trans son.
Or you don't see a touch of trans-phobic baiting there?

Oh, for sure. The 'bloids are mostly transphobic and homophobic, though occasionally they publish surprisingly supportive pieces. They can't resist with a longtime target like Cher. I report this stuff more as "this is what's being said on a gay topic" or "trans topic" than "OMG, this has to be real."
