But seriously, Sash's emergency kidney-stone surgery was a complete success. She was moping around and sore a couple of days, peed some blood for three, and by day four was almost completely normal, including a big appetite and a desire to play. The next several days, she continued to pee a lot (often off the papers, even when it was clear she was choosing to do this not just missing) and kept squatting to pee even when she had no pee (probably due to internal stitches and/or shaved gotch). But then she got back to basically normal everything and has been jumping around. This week, her stitches were removed (along with a peach pit-sized glob of wax from the ear that has always bugged her through all our treatments, hm) so she is a new girl
