Katie Couric's new talk show had the highest rating in the field for the past 10 years. I'm happy for her—she's a fantastic journalist and I've always liked her personality after her initially too-perky debut on Today. For some reason, a lot of people hate her. But as she is proving, a lot of other people seem to love her.
