I'm not sure I'd wanna smell like this movie looks

Lady Gaga Fame, a film by Steven Klein, has been unveiled in conjunction with her perfume launch. I'm glad Klein has moved on to Gaga and hope this means the end of his long tenure with Madonna. He's done some good work with Madonna but it was definitely time. 

As for this, it's flashy but doesn't wow me. It feels like the early days of MTV when weird effects were tossed into videos just for the fun of showing off the effects.

If you love you some Gaga, don't pass out—I'm criticizing Klein more than Gaga here. But I do wonder how long she can do the "I'm bizarre" thing before audiences are desensitized and look elsewhere. Her next album will be a fair test—she's even titled it ArtPop, which is not a "please like me" title, so if it sells like hotcakes, then she is good for another stretch of freaky fun...
