By now, you've probably heard that Mitt Romney was caught on tape dismissing 47% of the U.S. as being "dependent on the government" and beneath his purview as a potential president. He says contemptuously that these people feel they have a right to food and housing.
And once caught, Romney did what he's been doing lately, which is double down. He now says he spoke "inelegantly" but that he stands by the core content of what he was saying.
The man is not qualified to run for president, much less win. I'm not even sure President Obama should grace him with his presence at the debates. It's an insult to this entire country for someone this callous to be so close to the highest office in the land.
