PREFmag (Mars-Avril 2008) has this great feature called "Quarantaine" about the sexiness of our forties. You get so used to seeing impossibly perfect 18-and-a-half-year-old twink models everywhere that seeing guys like these makes you think, 'How nice! Normal guys with flaws." Then you realize their only flaw is that they're (allegedly) around 40, and that they're otherwise every bit as fantastically intimidating. But they can't tell you're looking at their pictures (by Johann Bisesti), so:

Funny Ha-Ha/Funny Queer

Sean Chang captures Model Michael Macneal in "Funny Boy" inside PREFmag (Mars-Avril 2008). I don't get the title (it's enhanced with a Jule Styne/Bob Merrill quote) as it relates to the polished, undies-driven portfolio, but there's a black glamour to the scene that works interestingly against the model's pretty-boy look:
